Default maxxis mud bugs?

I was thinking about putting 25 inch mud bugs in my vinson because they have one of the deepest tread depths in a 25 inch. I was wondering how bad they road on the trail or pavement. And how they handle and wear.

They ride very well in all conditions IMO. I used to have 589s but got rid of them cause i did not like them. The bugs are a very good all around tire.

I have a set of bugs on my foreman. Love 'em. They have handled everything I've thrown at 'em from mud, mountain trails, rock outcroppings, wet slippery clay hills, on and on. The only thing I have noticed is they will dig if you hit a hole and choose to spin vs. powering through the hole. In the winter I push what little snow we get here in Tennessee with a 50" moose blade and have had no probs whatsoever.
On ice/snow trails they work well also. Currently running 25". Next set will be 26". I have about 650 mi. on mine and show little signs of wear. No complaints with their performance. dg
