Raptor Bearings Stuck
#1
OK, I have a 2001 Raptor and there was all kinds of play in the axle. I just bought it. I take out the axle and the little ***** from the bearing just fall out. The left side bearing is trash and the right is squeaking. I got new bearings and seals. I can't get the right side bearing out, nor can I get the hub out. Any ideas on how to get them out?? I have been smacking the bearing with a large socket and extension. It also looks like some of the left bearing sort of welded itself to the hub. Can I just grind this down and put in the new bearing once I get everything off?? Please any help will be usefull. Thanks in advance.

OK, I got the bearings all out, but it looks like on the left side there is nowhere to put the bearing. The right side looks like it has a real nice race to put the bearing and seal in, but the left side appears to be missing this. I think this is due to the bearing being destroyed on that side. Any clue on how to make the bearing fit again??
