Default Thoughts on Dirt Devils

I am looking for some 6 ply tires to put on my all time 4x4 AC to replace the stock 2 ply 489's. I use the quad off road in mud but the majority of the time I am on hard/semi hard pack. One of the big uses for my Quad is car shows and pit use. In other words, pavement. I want a 6 ply based on info seen here to help ease stearing and lessen side wall roll on these hard surfaces. I had all but decided on mudlights but then shifted to Titan 489 XT due to excelent reports in terms of use in mud and smooth ride on hard pack.

I then came accross a local guy selling Dirt Devils (Xt's and AT's) at a good price. They are 6 ply as well from what I can determine. Both treads looks similar to a 489 or a Mudlight. Any one out there who has them with an opinion on ride anw wear? I like the XT but I bet the less agressive AT would better suite my desire for a smooth ride.

I like the Dirt Devils alright but I would look into the Hoover line first, probably a stand-up model.

Got dirt devils on 2 bikes. What I like is they hook great in soft stuff but they also have very little vibration on hard packed stuff.

I like the 26" ,not realy too tall to kill the bottom end but have the deep lugs for soft stuff.

ive got a set of 22"s on my Banshee. they throw mud like no tomorrow. i was walkin through stuff that stuck stock 400EXs with stock tires. one guy with a 400ex had Holeshots though and he made it. the Devils handled well on hardpack and were easy to slide with through corners. they ARE squirrely on grass. i noticed the *** end wanting to swing out on numerous occasions. if your not racing in grass then id say they would fit the bill for ya.
im actually looking to sell mine as i need something more along the lines of the Holeshots as most of the running around here is har packed. then i ll get some paddles for when im out on the Island for the summer.

hope this helped
