New boingers from C T Racing
#1
rard packerYesterday I finally had the opportunity to try out my new TCS shocks from C T Racing & the word is:AWESOME! altho I seemed to gain about an inch more travel on my 97 Warrior, it is what they did with that inch that counts.Set up for my style, which is cc desert & fast technical woods riding, these shocks performed beyond my expectations, soaking up whoops,drop-offs, square holes, & stutter bumps with ease. In fact, on a couple of especially hard hits which consisted of small drop-offs with 6 to 7" rain ruts at the bottom which would have sent me over the bars last week, I barely felt a jolt with the new suspenders.
Did someone ask about cornering? The guys at C T know how to get thru corners- they've changed me from riding on the edge to total control while going faster. Maybe that's why TCS stands for "total control shocks".
I guess I'm still pumped after riding 23 miles with my latest toys yesterday.
One thought, tho, if you decide to get TCS's, they will profile your weight, skill level, and riding style. Most riders who are not happy with their aftermarket shocks are those who attempted to sound "macho" when asked for the above info. If you are a recreational rider and a novice, tell them so. They'll build your shocks to that level.
As an intermediate level rider, i find, & expected to find, that these shocks are quite stiff when riding at slow plunking speeds, but come into play at 3/4 to full throttle which is fine with me. If I want slow & cushy, I'll ride my KQ.

SAMson, since you've obviously learned the price from CT's web site I won't reiterate that but as to the turnaround, they said it would be two weeks, but it was about three weeks due to a difficulty obtaining shock bodies for the Warrior. I got the impression that delivery for other machines would be sooner.BTW, C T guarantees a free revalving if, within 30 days you are not satisfied with the performance.
