I am in the market for some new racing shocks. I checked out CT's website ans saw their new shocks. They look really cool. They are said to have a "Sag Control System". Is this similar to the PEP Zero-Preload shocks. I am somewhat partial to the Pep shocks due to their reputation, but these new TCS shocks look good and are about $200 cheaper than the Pep Zero-Preload Shocks. If anyone has had these new shocks, give me some feedback. How they perform compared to the PEP shocks, etc. Thanks!

Jayson,
I've recently installed TCS's on my 97 Warrior & I'm totally happy with the improvement they have made. I'm taking the harder hits and erosion berms in the woods much faster & most importantly, much more in control. I'm able to take the corners much deeper & faster than previously and get thru them in a far flatter attitude. Many riders tend to think only in terms of jumping benefits when considering suspension up-grades. But I was really surprised at the difference these shocks made in handling the smaller stutter bumps & turns. Being in Az., it is still too hot to do any serious desert riding, but I think I'll be happy with my shocks there as well. Depending on your riding style you may want to play with the compression settings somewhat. They have a 20 click adj to cover just about any situation. As a desert & woods rider, as opposed to mx, I am currently using 2 clicks up from the lowest setting & have increased the rear dampening a couple of clicks from where I had it before.
One good thing about C T, if the valving isn't to your liking they offer a 30 day free re-valving.
Having no experience with PEP shocks, I can't make any comparison there, other than deliver time.. about 2 weeks for TCS.
