Best Front tires?
#1
What would be the best front tires for any type of riding. I have been looking at Holeshot MX front tires in 19's. I heard that you can turn on a dime with a set of those I just bought the new Holeshot HD's for my Z400

Hey mucky. I was looking at all your mods that you listed and was wondering how your yoshimura pipe was and if it gave you good power compared to say an Alba pipe? Which one do you think had the best over gain? IM moving somewhere where theres not a lot of people that the pipe will bother because there is a lot of land with noone around so the pipe will not bother anybody. ME and my girlfriend are gonan build a track to ride on out there. So noise is not a factor. And How does your 440 kit go. I heard they are pretty insane. I was lookin at maybe the 450 kit from yoshi.

I like the yosh pipe. not sure how it copares to the alba one
I do know my bike is loud. when I had it dynoed you could hear it half way
through the building. love the 440. if I was going to do it over I would have the yosh 450 put it
its geared for the dunes right now and if im just hot rodding the bike and running it hard
It will suck down almost a gal of gas in less than 45 mins, it I take it easy and ride like most normal
people I can ride around 3 hrs on a tank. I dont race on any tracks just love to ride

I know that you have to modify your air box with a big bore kit. But do you have to get bigger cams with it? And one of my friends has a 400ex bored to a 470ex, bigger cams, and a CT racing pipe and if he doesn't ride it right it will blow up. So would the 450 be a pain in the butt with reliabilty. Cuz I still want to be able to ride it everyday and not worry about it blowing up on a trail. And do I need a yoshi pipe with the yoshi big bore kit or can I get any pipe I want? Sorry about bugging you about this.

My experience is that when you go to smaller tires, the steering can become to quick, even twitchey. You would be going from stock 22", to a 19", which is a big change. Plus, your front end is going to be lower than the back, which is going to be way weird! I would suggest that 22" Holeshot XC's, will make a good front tire to go with the H-D's.

you dont have to install cams when you do a 440 kit
I ride mine all over the place its very reliable
not sure what all comes with the yosh kit but I think you can
have what ever pipe you want on it. talk to murdr about it he had the yosh kit installed
