Does anyone have Works Shocks? How well do the y hold up to jumps and perform overall. I am thinking about getting a set for my LT230S.

Works would be a great upgrade to your machine. Works are good shocks and are a lot better than just about any stock shock save for the cdales and 450's.

For your application you are probably looking at an AT steeler dual rate. Resiviours will help cool the shock but you more than likely will not see a worthwhile benefit from the rezzies.

I was thinkin about getting the A-T Steelers w/ daul rate springs and remote rezzies... do i really need the rez.? Cuz getting them bumps up the price of the shocks pretty high. I ride mostly on trails in the woods, and occasionally jumps 3-5' high. What would you reccomend?

For the application and your riding conditions I think that rezzies would be overkill and would not significantly improve the performance of the shock.

What would you really need the rez on the shocks for?

I believe when your about to bottom out the rezzies squirt a little nitrogen to prevent you from bottoming out.

No, I dont think thats it.

Resiviours are designed to keep the shock oil/nitrogen/air or whatever you have in there at a cooler operating temperature. As the shock is compressed and extended it heats up the shock body and internal gases/fluids. As temperature increases the shock loses performance. Rezzies give the shock more room and more fluid to exchange in and out of the shock body, keeping it cooler.
