my 2000 300 4trax 2 wheel drive rides horrible. the rear shock has been changed once.how can i tell if the problem is the front shocks? the back seems ok. it beats me to death. how much of a difference would new front shocks make and is there any certain brand anyone suggests. thanks

It may be as simple as tire pressure.

Tire pressure was the first thing I thought of. All you can do to test your shocks is to push up and down on the machine, and see what kind of action you are getting. I would suggest Works Performance for some aftermarket units.

It might just be the springs, they're probably just a weeeee bit stiff for your weight. If you can find a way to respring them it would be much cheaper. If new shocks are the solution and you want to save some cash just get a set of works.
