Mudlite XL question
#1
Hello all, After spending countless hours on this site Im stiil constantly learning, this place is great. Got a question for those more intelligent than I, so here goes.
My wife rides a yamaha bruin, its a great little woods bike, but with being little its also a little tippy when cornering. Also these tires that yamaha so generously gives you just dont bite. Ive noticed that ITP now has a 25 inch mudlite called the xl which has high lugs. I wanted to stay with a 25 inch tire as to not rob the little 350 of any power. Has anyone run these, and will going from a 2ply tire to a 6ply tire typically be more stable when cornering?

correct me if I am wrong but I believe the Mudlite XL is only 26" and larger the 25" Mudlite an AT. the larger lugs are only on the 26", 27", 28" tires. personally I think If your spending the cash on the Mudlites or any new tire for that matter that you should go up atleast one size to a 26" for a bit more ground clearance and a better stance/overall look.

Yes, there is now a 25" XL that does have the deep lugs like the 26 and up. I just priced a set and they are available. You need to contact www.bc-offroad.com. He has the cheapest prices that I have found and also free shipping. Hope that helps you out.
