Default Getting Front Sprocket off of a Raptor

hey , i just chipped some teeth off of my Raptors front sprocket and i attempted to get it off put i ran into a road block when i got past taking the bolt off i didnt know wat to do from there if any body knows wat im suppose to take off next and how to take it off that would be much appericiated

Default Getting Front Sprocket off of a Raptor

Not sure how you broke teeth off the sprocket. But you need to loosen the rear bearing carrier bolts and back the chain adjustment out to loosen the chain. Then just pull the sprocket off the shaft and replace it.

ok thanks , i just take the chain off and the front sprocket slides right off i gottcha , and also i chipped them by doing something stupid , my buddy's banshee ran outta gas so i had to pull him and just to let everyone know , dont toe ppl's 4 wheelers with a quad LoL THANKS AGAIN!!!

Ha ha ha, used your raptor as a tow truck eh? I'm more suprised you didnt burn your clutch out. Make sure you get your chain adjusted properly when you get the new sprocket on. You should also check your chain for damage.

lol , ya i have broke my back sprocket many times so i know how to do all the chian ajustments and stuff thnaks for the help again

Happy to help.

If you are breaking sprockets you have a problem. Either you need to buy quality sprockets, you need to adjust your chain better, or you need a skidplate.

How are you breaking all these sprockets? What kind are you using? How tight do you have your chain? I dont think i have ever heard of a person breaking multiple sprockets without something being out of whack.

im breaking sprocket cause im too cheap to go buy a new chain LoL my chain is really worn out but imma go buy a new chain now and then everything should be fine

Rear sprockets are usually not that much cheaper than a new chain.
