What's the main difference between the two? On the website it says that the series 6 are lighter, but they look exactally the same. Are the 6's chrome and the 5's polished aluminum or something? The 6 series are higher and I just wanted to know why since they look the same.

Type 6 are lighter, have a more tapered and thinner spoke, and a chrome-like finish.

I have the type 6 and they are made a little different than the 5's the 6's are cut out a little more. The type 5 is clearcoated and the type 6 is fully polished.

So will the type 6 be a little "shinier" than the type 5. Also, would they be easier to clean up? I have polished aluminum wheels on my pickup and they are a pain to polish. Chrome is much easier to clean.

Both wheels are a cast aluminum type wheel. The advantage of a cast aluminum wheel is that they are both light and very strong. Another difference between the Type 5 and Type 6, other than what has already been mentioned, is the Type 5 has a stronger edge that ITP refers to as the "Rock Crusher" edge and the Type 6 does not.

I have the type 6's wrapped with 27" Mudlites and love them. the type 6's are polished and have a more cut out thinner spoke while the type 5 is more of a machined finish with thicker spokes.
