Hello everyone. I am looking into getting some better tires for a Honda Forman 450s. I am looking for something really durable. I do alot of trail riding, as well as mud and rocks. And every once in a while I can be found in the sand dunes. I was also wondering if anyone could tell me what wheel they liked better. The ITP Type 4 C-Series or the Douglas Rockstars? Thanks!

 

I like Rokstars better, but Maxxis makes a sweet looking wheel as well, but don't leave out Vision wheels either (I think ITP's wheels are some of the least attractive rims comparatively). As far as tires go, that debate still rages and isn't going anywhere. Ask around w/ some of your local riders and see what they're riding. I would suggest MudBugs or Vampires, but both of those tires will just bury you up in the sand.

 

IF it werent for sand i would go with itp 589 fo sho but you ride in sand.... so you need a all around tire rock mud trail sand durable.... That is hard to find but if i were you i would go with ITP holeshot atr Tire. There really not that much of a race tire.. There ok in mud grip rock durable probaly good in sand and a execlent trail tire... But if I was getting rims also i would get ITP rims with ITP 589 and put some sand tires on the old rims so when you go to dunes you can swap them out. But for sure go with the ITP rims I have heard and had bad experienc ewith douglas. Plus those ITP type 4 c class look kick *** on foremans. SO i say u get those and 589 and sand tires on the stock! that would be the way to go but good luck and rember... ITP is the best![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
