My frame is still solid for now. Just curious, what were you doing when it busted?

Default Brute Force Frame Busted

Well, I am a older dude. I am a 32 year old youth pastor. About my frame. I guess it was a bad weld on the right side, upper shock mount to the frame. It just peeled right off and the whole assemble was about 3 inches up. The tech investigated and the frame should be there soon. He has to take everything off and put it all back on a new frame. I was jumping high and I ride it way hard, but it shouldn't have done that. I was only about 4-5 feet off the ground. One of my youth kids was actually beating me in height and distance on his little poopy polaris 230.

Suzuki is going to get itself a reputation for frame problems, if they don't turn things around soon!

Suzuki, Kawasaki.......I guess they have merged, but I think the Brute Force is one of Kawi's own. The Prairie and Twinpeaks is one of those mixed ones. My Tech guy said that he has not heard of an frams busts lately for the Kawi's. I hope mine doesn't do it again.

Recon...Kawasaki makes the Brute Force, not Suzuki.

I've heard of a couple of problems with the frames on the BF. That, and they tend to go through belts pretty fast. I think Kawasaki was maybe in too big a hurry to get a big bore on the market, that they didn't quite do all the testing they should have.

youthguymbc,
So did kawi pay for the new frame? Warranty? I'm bringing my '05 BF 750 in next week to the dealer. My right front tire is slightly angled in at the top and I'm not sure what's wrong. The a-arms look straight and it doesn't look like any of the brackets on the frame are bent? I'm hoping it's something inside the hub assembly and not a tweaked bracket on the frame. Not sure what happened to it. I don't jump it and the only reason I noticed it was because I was swapping the stock tie rods with some Diamond G's and noticed the tire when I went to take it off. I'm still within the 6 month warranty period and I also purchased the extended 48 month warranty.
