Default mudlites vs. dirtdevil 25"

I am looking to get new tires for my rancher 350 s. I am chosing mudlites or dirtdevils. A few people i know have dirtdevils adn they hold up great and do ok in the mud and trail. I have no expirence with mudlites. I want to use the stock rims and want to keep it light as possible for the 350. I ride hardpack a bit, trails mostly (very rutted and rocky), and mud. And rarely a bit of snow. I want a tire that will out perform the other in these conditions while not causing my rancher to lose alot of power. And i am not getting the mudlite xl or new atr, just the original mudlite. Thanks.

ANd please try to keep discussion to these two tires.

and one more thing, do you guys think the rears would be lighter with the stock 11" rims or should i buy new 12" rims since then there will be less rubber which will equal less weight? Is that correct? And i would only buy new rear rims not all 4 since i dont have the money to.

I'd go with the Dirtdevils and go with the 26"XT's. Check out my pictures of mine. I noticed no power lose with the 26"XT

i want the absolute lightest so would that be the mudlight? Do you really think dirtdevils would outperform the mudlite in those conditions? I dont want the xt cause dont you think the size and weight will kill it? The stock tires are 24".

Depends on what you are riding. I rode my buddies Rancher At w/ 26" Mudlights, and they seemed to ride ok, and power seemed to be ok. The 26" XT's on my quad seem to ride smoother, and hook up better in dirt, hardpack. But, then your lookin at straight axle vs IRS. Idk man, I think you would be well pleased with either. If your still looking at the 25" at's, then DD's for trail/hardpack/rocks, and Mudlights for mud. I think that would be a good way to go.

which tire will throw a bigger roost? the small tread DD or the small tread mudlite? Also does anyone know how much more the 25" mudlite xl (extra deep tread) weighs than the At (regular tread) ? can it be more than 2 or 3 pounds? Also i am now leaning towards the mudlite xl 25". How is the bigger tread on hardpack and rocks and trails? Is it a bumpy ride? I will not get the dd xt because i dont want to go bigger than 25".

The lugs are longer, not spaced farther apart. Same ride w/ at or deep lug. Deeplugs just mud better.
