If i were you i would definately go with the razrs. They are by far the best tire out of the two. They are lighter, stronger, and they hook up better. If i were you i would wait and get the 18" version. It will be out soon.

Neither. These tires have to be purchased for the type of riding you plan to do. The XC versions of these tires are not any good for MX due to weight and size and he MX version is not any good for trails due to lower ply rating therefore more holes.

Hey I just put on 20" reg. holeshots on my banshee, and I rode with them at a large motocross track and they worked great, alot of hookup and not once did I miss judge how they would grip/slip. I never used the Razr's though. I would pick any because they both are really good tires.

Holeshots are junk!!! Nothing but holes and flats. No traction in slippery conditions.
Razr's will out ride anyday.

As much as I adore the Razr's, I personally would run the new Holeshot MX for motorcross racing.

If they are junk then why do you see so many people with them at a GNCC.

not to make anyone mad or anything but half the racers who run them only do cause they are paid to. if it were up to me i'd go with the razr's.

Just want to correct what fast400 said as far as the XC series of Holeshots go. We race GNCC and have a parking place on Pro row(top 10). I know what type of deal all the guys get and not a single person that races GNCC gets paid to run Holeshots. They do get their tires supplied for free if you are a top 10 rider or at a reduced price for 'A' class riders. Next time you need to get the facts straight. As far as the Razr, they do pay the Pro's (Bill Ballance & Bryan Baker) to run their tires in the GNCC series. They also pay a contingency if you place in the top 10 in your class and are using Razr or another Maxxis tire. Maxxis is the only tire company in GNCC racing that pays money to run their tires.
