Please Help,

I just replaces my bent OEM upper a-arm with another factory used a-arm that i bought off EBAY. The seller told me he barely had used the a-arm and in fact it does seem to be in pretty good shape. After installing it i notices that there is some play at the ball joint where it connectes to the spindle. The other side doesnt do that. Is there some special way to connect the ball joint to the spindle before puting on the castle nut and pin. Thanks for the help.

Never replaced one on my Raptor but had to disassemble the front end of my Wolverine which is dual front a arms to replace cv boots. It was a very tight fit and had to be just right. It was a two man job to get the ball jointin all the way, but then the nut tightened down fine. The ball joint may just be bad. Hope this helps.
