Default Jordan / Joyner 250cc vibration

My new Jordan / Joyner 250cc Auto has a PROBLEM!!! There is a serious vibration from the drivetrain upon acceleration and is felt through the whole scoot. The vibration is evident at speed and becomes progressively worse as speed is incresed. When slowing down, the problem abates. It's OK at idle. The bike is a single speed auto & reverse water cooled ATV / sport-quad. The import agent in South Africa, Jordan M/C & Scooters (Google them...), maintain this is a normal occurence. The bike is not too bad but I'm concerned that it'll break some time. I've barely ridden it due to this gripe. Apparently, the mechanical spec is that of Honda. I've paid R16 000 (US $ 2000) for this heap... Is there anyone in Johannesburg reading here? From a sunny South Africa!!!!
