My personal experiences with Slime have been negative. It will eventually dry up, and just leave a crust on the inside of the tire. But hey, no mess when you pull the tire off.......but no flat protection either!

I now use Fix-a-Flat, and it has never let me down. There is of course going to be some mess when you break the bead.

It says on the container that it will not harden , maybe this stuff has been redesigned since you last used it ? I am just wondering how big of a mess it makes when you do have to change the tires ? Does the fix a flat work just as good or better ?
Thanks,
D.

Think about this.........Slime is based on the fact that the fibers it contains get forced into the hole by the escaping air pressure. This might work well enough in a 60 psi truck tire, but not so well on a quad tire with a mere 4 psi of pressure!

And, with any liquid you put into your tires, you have to also consider rim corrosion issues..........

i used it on my stock 2- ply tires, and it worked good for small punctures, like thorns and such. its easy to change the tires , its just liquid that washes off the rim. had it like that for a year!

tires with slime do seem to make a little mess if you have to remove them but it all washes off with water. i've had good luck with slime in my tires, its never dried in the tires as long as you have close to what they recomend in it. but remember slime wont seal a tire bead no matter how much is in it
