agricultural tires on big bear?
#1
I'm looking to put 27" itp ag wheels on my 2001 big bear, does any one know how these tires work at higher speeds like 40 when going to other areas with harder surfaces.I have read that they are for 15 mph, are they unsafe or just to much vibration. who has the best prices.

Looked at your photos, nice machine, have not seen that brand of tires yet ,but will look them up, have you seen the ag tires in action yet? how do those tri claws measure up ,do they rattle up a storm or are they ok.

thanks, i personally havent owned a pair of a/g tires but have heard they are not a good hard pack tire(i beleive you can only go like 15 m.p.h. before they shake you off the quad) and they will only do good in mud that you can find solid ground to dig into..in the mud the wider tires seem to float because they cover more ground providing better traction..my bi-tri claws are excellent in the mud.. on hard pack they have a slight thumping up until about 5 m.p.h. but its not bad at all..if i could have gotten the same tread patterns in a 26 inch i would have gotten those..im working on solving some fender rubbing up front but i should be able to correct it..
