I had just bought some bighorn tires and wheels off of ebay. I had sent the check on the 5th of March and it still has not got to the guy yet. He lives in NC, and i had sent it from IL. Please tell me if i should be worried or should i give it a few more days. Would greatly appreciate a comment back if this is odd or if i am just panicing. THANX

 

I would start to be worried. Anytime you send a check it should be moneyorder or if its personel check it should have been sent priority with signature comformation. Did you check your account to see if it was cashed. What is the feedback of the seller?

 

i learned the hard way REAL QUICK threw some false clams by some crappy e-bayers trying to get there money back, and e-bay "fined" my acount for a certain percentage and sent it to them...........

now weither it's selling an item or buying an item, if i send something it has the signiture confermation, and any non pay-pal payments are send money order or cashiers checks with a tracking # AND signiture confermation.............it's defenetly worth the extra $2-3!! i had 2 buyers clam i hadn't sent there item............a tracking # proved otherwise, and the signiture was just a 100% back up, to be able to say "hahahaha dumb ***, not this time!"

check your bank account, and try to contact the seller to see if he has recieved anything! if it goes to long, you maybe able to contact your bank to have them inform you of when the check is being processed, and to put it on "HOLD" till they contact you!

His feedback is 99.9 so i am not worried about that part of it, but do you think that i should cancel the check and just sign up for the paypal?

 

try contacting him first to see what he says! if you don't get any responce from him after a few e-mails then maybe think of other actions.

i'd go ahead and sign up for paypal any way. even if you hardly ever use it, the times you do buy stuff on line it's pretty easy. and alot of web sites are recognizing it as a secure payment method now days.

 

Not Really,, If you sent a personel check I am sure he held it until it cleared,,That could take a week to 10 days. Then get your large package to UPS and we all know How fast brown delivers,,A week easy. So you are OK still, Don't panic, I find that about the time I start to get freaked out about ebay items and shipping..They show up the next day. Brown does'nt work weekends so that slows you down also. Get a paypal account, Way easier and as a seller on ebay I love it. Good Luck JJ
