I've done it with tractor tires but i dont think I'd ever try it with a tire that small.
you mite better get the tire very warm ,use a tire to rim seal and a high volume air pressure
also remove the valve from the stem to allow more air to get in easer.

I got so fed up with adding air to my tires on my ATVs every 2 weeks that I put tubes in all of the tires ,now I only change the air if I change the tires.

Should use my tires and rims. 1 front goes flat after a day and when turning fast if the tire hits a rut or if i land hard some times the fronts loose all air

So you have seen the ether trick done on a atv tire or just heard about it?I did finally get my tire to set buy setting wood in the tire to stretch it to shape and left in the warm basement for a while.I just want to know if the tire can handle the explosion of the ether.I have heard you just spray a quick shot around the inside of the rim.

I changed tires for a few years and I have used ether. It is dangerous and I was young and did not know any better. If you have a tire shop you do any amount of biz with, I would be willing to bet they would use their tire machine and give it a quick blast of air to pop it out for you in the future.

I have one jigger rigged... Used a shut off valve and a short strest of 3/4 air line piped down to fir my little compressor. I took a piece of pipe and mashed it flat and then fitted it to the shut off vavle and then to the hose. I crank the compressor and get it to full pressure, then blast in a shot of air. It is a cheap version of what you will see in some tire shops for blasting up large rig tires.

Good luck and dont learn like I did and burn off my mustache with the ether. :-) It really stinks and you look funny with no eye lashes or eyebrows.

My friend did that with a home made patato gun. Blew up in his face because I talked him into trying to shoot 3 patatos at once instead of 1 so it just exploded in his face
