Bearclaws are fine. In a test they rated very high, however Dirt Devils rated a tad higher and was considered about the best all around trail tire. I think that they were equal on everything but the Dirt Devils were a little smoother rolling. I like what I have and they work awsome but another tire worth looking at is the Duro 'Buffalo' (DI2010) tire. Similar tread pattern as the Bearclaws but with a little meatier, heafier and rugged tread design. If I did not have what I have I probably would be running the 'Buffalo's'
Here is a picture of them.

Have you looked at the Maxxis Bighorns. I've rescently purchased some 26x12x12 Maxxis Bighorns . There awesome and theres no terrian they can't handle. Plus The price is pretty reasonable. It is on a buggy, but you should try to look at them .
Good luck

Bear claws are great tires. I have a set on the rear of my warrior, and the back of my 250 big red trike, and they are excellant. They wear like iron, and have a rim saver, also they are six ply. Really a good tire for the money.
