Hi Guys,

I have a Kazuma Falcon 250 with the stock front shocks, and they are currently set on the softest suspension, but they are still to stiff for me, I rarely ever have 4 wheels on the ground well taking a corner, and i don't take them really fast either. So I am looking to make it softer but do not know what more I can do. Could I cut a coil or two out of the spring? Or is it possible to buy a lighter spring?

Also I have read that the stock Kazuma tires suck and that is part of the reason why it handles like it does on corners, What would be a good set of tires for taking corners? We ride on all sorts of stuff, big rocks, stumps/roots, losse gravel, shot rock, and a bit of loose dirt/sand. What is a descent tire for doing all of the above?

Cutting the springs will only lower the quad. You need to get a spring with a lower spring rate.

 

If its a little tippy you may want to try some wheel spacers first. Much cheaper than replacing all four tires. Can normaly be had from $40 all around and up. Also you may want to check you front tire pressures to see if there over inflated. Giving you a stiffer ride. Hope that helps any.

 

What about putting a lowering kit on it made by crj? It lowers the quad by 3.5" and widens it 1.5", I have also read that installing this puts the shock at a greater angle therefor making it compress easier.

Do you guys think something like that would work,

In my opinion I would not want to decrease ground clearance. If its a trail machine. Maybe if its an on track only quad.

 

I don't want to decrease the ground clearance but I want to find a way to make the quad feel more stable while taking corners. Any suggestions?

If I do the wheel spacers how much should I space them?
