Maxxis bighorns+mud
#1
I had been running 26" mudlites and switched to 25" bighorns because I wanted a better handling, more durable all terrain type tire. When I was trying to decide what tires to get alot of people said that bighorns werent that good in the mud but I disagree. So far mine have done better than my mudlites, I know mudlites aren't the best mud tire, but I thought they would be better than the bighorns. Any one else had the same experience with the bighorns? I love these tires!

The 25" bighorns on my 03 Kodiak will do better that the 25" Mudlights on my friends Eiger in mud. The only thing I dont like, is that they throw a lot of crap up into the air, that comes down on top of me, if I spin them. I discovered yesterday that they work great in the snow too(We have 8" and it crawls all over in 2WD). The only thing the bighorns suck in, is deep sand, because they tend to dig a hole.

i had mud lites, swicthed to b/h on my eiger. hit this mud hole yesterday, about 80 feet of it, my wifes 2wd yamie got stuck, as did 800 grizz,700 polaris, and a couple of others. i put a rope on the wifes, and pulled out. every body had m/l but me. i love these tires.
