what would be the best all around tire be for a 4x4 atv.

You did say all-around, right?

I know everybody is always in a rush to change to more sexy rims and huge monster tires, but with my Ranchers I have found that the best all-arounders have turned out to be the stock tires that came on them! Unfortunately, it cost me a lot of money in aftermarket rims and tires to find that out.....

 

i am partial to itp atr radials. i had mud lite xl's....they hook great but tend to slide in downhill situations.the atr's work great everywhere except real deep mud.....which i dont like anyways !! the atr tires have great sidewall stiffness which is great for high speed cornering.i wish they were made in 23x12 sizes. if your a agressive x/c type rider ,the atr's are great.

 

How about something like the bighorn?

 

swamplites. good on trails, ok in the mud.

 

dirt devils or maxxis big horns
