zillas vs dirt devil xt

not buying new tires anytime soon but these are the 2 i have my eye on.
i want to know about the wear of these tires, puncture resistance, and traction in mud, water, and rocks and loose trail
and do you think there better than the 26 mudlite XTRS

Hey Buck - I'll humor ya
Well I do not own either tire you mentioned... but Maxxis does make the "Zilla" tire.
I have been a huge supporter of Maxxis tires ever since my dirtbike days... Maxxis tires always provide me with great performance. I was happy to learn that when I bought my quad that is had Maxxis tires on it stock... And let me tell you... for a stock tires they do damn good in everything but sticky mud... I have beaten my tires pretty good - just take a look at my steel rims - case closed! I have never had a sidewall problem - let alone any problems.
When the time comes to replace these I am leaning heavily towards the 25" Bighorns (M917/M918's) as I hear / see nothing but sidewall problems with the XTR's.
For the riding I do up here in New Hampshire and Maine - the Bighorns will suit me just fine!
