TCS triple rates
#1
Hey, Has anyone else noticed that TCS is now making triple rate front shocks. I talked to Todd at TCS he told me they are more for woods riding rather than MX. He said the dual rates are the better shock for MX. He says the triples just allow it to soak up smaller bumps better but actually decrease bottoming resistance.

Amazing! TCS, AXIS and all who carry those brands have always said that their valving is so superior that they don't need triple rate springs. There have also been numerous posts about this very topic. It's funny now that AXIS and TCS have both changed their ways, maybe people will stop badmouthing PEP and Works for the triple rate setups. I already know what you guys are going to say, the third spring will only make the TCS and AXIS that much better. It's funny though, that they didn't need it before to be better.

i am considering buying some new front shocks. I dont really know what to buy. the tcs shocks for my raptor are 750.00 from ct. i do mostly trail riding and cant see spending that much. do i need triple rate? or would just duel rate. should i spend the bucks on tcs or pep? or just buy works? is suppose anything would be an improvement. do all these companys make them to weight and riding style? its important because im 6ft 1 and 236 pounds. so what would be best?
