my tire size now is 25x10x12 R, and 25x8x12 F.
could i go with a 26x11x12 and a 25x9x12 on the same rims ? or 27 or bigger.if i go bigger will i need a lift kit?
thanks

For the conditions you described sounds like the XTR's would be a better choice. I am sure you will many others add there two cents and they will call mudlite's pluglites, or say you should buy maxxis tires or something else. But for the two you listed I think the xtr's are the way to go. They are great for the trail and the mud! I love mine. the 589's are good in the mud/snow but I don't find them as good on hard packed or other conditons as xtr's.

Just a personal opinion, I think you should take a look at the Interco Swamp Lite tires. They outperform any all terrain tire I have seen. I bought them for my 2x4 Ozark and get through whatever I need to. I have no need for 4x4 anymore, that is how good these tires are. But out of your two choices, I say the XTRs.

thanks do you have a link to the other tire out there ?
the 589's are lightweight it says that wont strain you drive train.
i hate tires that have the tread pattern like the xtr's there hard to clean out the grovves

Here they are! You may not like them though. If you tried them, you'd love em!
I say you go with 26" tall tires, unless you do competition mud riding.

$106 bucks a piece! No no no no no. Go here: http://www.4atvtires.com/atvTi...t.php?id=7255&cat_id=2
much better pricing.
Which ATV are the tires for? The 400 or 600? If it is the 600, I say go with the 27" tires, but if its the 400, i say go for the 26" tires.
