i looked at some 2day , i got a price of 489 bucks with tax for 4

i got 25x18x12 front
and 25x10x12 rear now.

will the 27 work without i lift kit ?

the tires i'am looking at are
27x9x12 front
and 27x11x12 rear...will these cleaer the front tierods, om my 01 grizzly
with stock rims?

or should i got with the 26 tall ones.?

im thinking of getting a 1or 2 inch lift for it later on.

I would go with the largest tire in which you DO NOT neeed a lift kit. A lift will tear up your CV joints. The 25" tires will be incredibly better than the stck tires. Those are very nice tires. A 26" tire is probably your largesy without a lift.

 

i headr that too about the c/v joint going bad sooner , if i go 27s that will give my 1 inch more ground cleance .i would like to have at least nother 1 to 2 inches to clear .high centers where i ride at?

27 inch tall are just 1 inch more per side of tire, that will clear, i think? with romm to spare ,, that ,measuring at the rear tire to the front fender where the foot rest is .

 

The problem with the 27s is the that they are often too wide on the front and interfear with the tie rods on some machines. I have a 500 HO with 26 " tires and they are plenty. Will go through anything. You will be amazed at the difference between the stock tires and the ITPs. It will seem like a different machine.

My brother purchased 589s for his HO and they were EXCELLENT. ITP tires are not cheap but the old saying is so true: 'You get what you pay for'.

 

589S ARE GOOD ON HARD PACK DIRT?

 

I have a 04 kodiak 450, and run 26x9x12 up front and 26x11x12 in rear with no lift and they fit fine. Also no wheel spacer. You should also consider the bigger you go with tires the more power you will need. I am all stock and find power to be good for that size tire. I also like to power slide as well as mud ride. Not to mention rock climbing as well. Hope this helps ya, rock on.
