i had a set of bearclaws on my rancher 420, terrible tire, rode like a lumberwagon, sold them after two rides. go with a set of radial tires, like duro powergrip, bighorn, terracross, youll get a much better result.

The Terracrosses are amazing. They ride really smooth on hard packed, sand, light mud...everything. They grip really good in rocks and they wear awesome. They are not a mud tire but they do good if you are the occasional mud kind of rider.

Default New Tires ???

I have had bearclaws and they are great tires but very rough riding. I now own Terracross and they perform as well or slightly better than the bearclaw and ride WAY better. A HUGE difference in ride quality. This is my second sets of ITP brand tires. Both sets have been excellent.

I have PowerGrips on my Eiger. These tires are just awesome! They hook-up great in rocks, dirt, gravel, hard-pack, snow, and grass. The only place they don't shine is in mud, but they are at least as good as stock in the mud. I went riding the other day after we got about eight inches of powder snow. I took my quad and my buddies were on their sleds. I was pulling hills that the sleds were spinning-out on. It was pretty funny.

Mud, sand, hard pack and wooded trails, Bearclaws are Ok but they ride like crap, I love the Terracross, they perform slighly better and ride incredbly smooth.

These Terracross tires rock!

I have the bear claws and I love them. I don't notice a rough ride?

I just put a set of Bearclaws on mine about a month ago and they work great, I ride the same terrain as you described.
