Default ITP Mud Lite AT vs. Maxxis Zilla

ok, the mud lite at has a 3/4 inch tread depth, it is a little heavy but i can get it in a 24-10 x 11, the maxxis Zilla has a 3/4 tread depth but is way lighter than the mud lites and im looking at the, in a 25- 10 x 12. Will the 12 inch rim counteract the weight of the Zilla? i am on a trx700xx, and i dont want to see a big power dive when i put these on, the Zillas are light, but will having to get a 12 inch rim for them make it too heavy? the ITP's come in an 11 inch rim, but they are somewhat heavy.

I guess my real question is, which goes better in mud? a 24'' mud lite, or a 25'' Zilla?

and, do itp's measure small? because if the 25'' itp measures a little small i can get a 25'' itp.

OK, as someone who has had both, here's my opinion.
The Mudlites measured way small (almost 1 1/4" smaller). I liked how they handled in the mud but the lost ground clearance was a problem for me. I also had constant sidewall slices (6 plugs in one tire and 5 in another).
I now have the Zillas and they seem to meaure close to true. Equal with the Mudlites in mud but nice to have a little extra clearance. Both seem to ride alot alike on hard pack. Not sure of the wear on the Zilla's after time (i have only 400 miles on these).
My choice would be the Zillas due to the sidewall and heighth issue with the ITP's
Hope this helps.

i would say the zilla's to but you might want to check out the swamplites or bearclaws caue they come in alot of different sizes and the bearclaws wear rele good. teh swamplites are good but you cant ride on pavement or the tire tread will be gone

i think the zillas are 9 and 11"s wide. the mud lites come in 10 and 12" width. i think i'm going to get the zillas b/c i hear they are better than the mudlites however i would have liked 10 and 12" widths

well that sure helped..............

Id look for another tire, the zilla would be a REAL atv tire(4x4) and the itp NO since they run short, check the following out
