Default Snow/Mud Tires for a 98 Fourtrax

Meant to do this last year and didn't, and the recent blizzard we had over the weekend reminded me real fast. My 98 Fourtrax 300 4x4 still has the original tires on it, and lets just say they didn't do so well plowing this weekend. The ATV is really only used as a snow plow, with a few utility trips around the property in the summer and maybe a joy ride or two. I'm looking for primarily a snow tire. Maybe wheels too depending on cost. The stock wheels are pretty rusted and bent. If I could fit a larger wheel/tire combo to increase clearance that would be great.

So, any recommendations? What ply would be best? Was looking at the 589's, but I really have no idea.

Thanks!

my brother just picked up a set of kenda bearclaws for his 98 300 4x4 for $260 25x10x11 rears and 24x9x11 fronts, (stock 24"rear 23" front) Have'nt had them long but seem to do well in 6-8" of snow, mud unknown till spring.
