Default extend swingarms

Want to extend my swingarm on my 2002 Yamaha blaster. The reason I want to extend is because I want to bore out my bike . N I don't want the front to b popping up everytine I give it full throttle. N plus I'm a big guy n I look funny on a lil bike haha. With extended swingarm it'll look much bigger at least longer. Any suggestions on how long I should do ig

Your best bet is buying a prefabricated extended swingarm. Extending your could lead to failure and an accident. I have a +3 on my blaster and behind the kx250 motor. It shouldn't lift the front without me wanting it to.

When you put the +3 on it did you have to buy any other parts to make the swing arm fit n work properly. Like did you have to buy a new chain or anything like that?

I had to get a longer chain. Since I converted my cable frame over to hydrolic and used a yfz450 brake system, the length was spot on with the hydrolic hose. But if you have the stock cable brake, you will probably need to get a longer cable.
