Need help choosing shocks.

I posted this in the Yamaha forum, but maybe this is a better place to do so.
Okay, here's the deal. I'm planning on going with some shocks from Elka http://www.elkasuspension.com and have several options.
The piggy back looks really trick, but they say that with the remote rezzy, you get more shock travel. Also, by going with adjustable compression only, you get more shock travel.
What are the pros and cons of remote vs. piggy back and how important is the adjustable rebound on a shock compared to adjustable compression?
Thanks for your opinion.

The adjustable rebound is not that good, it can only be used for few aplications. You want the shock to rebound fast, to be ready for the next jump, the adjustment only slows this action.
Adj. comp. is a must. i like remote resvs. They offer a little more travel, and hold more oil, therfore letting the shock run cooler in long race situations. You can also tuck it out of the way of debris. Hope i helped!
