Should not be an issue, but have you checked eBay?

I checked online and it looks like the Ranger 400 H.O. was 455cc. I knew they made a Ranger 500 that was 498cc, but didn't know they also made a Ranger that was only 43cc smaller at the same time.

As far as the tires are concerned, the new Ranger 500 has 25x10x12 tires. They also went to 25x10x12 tires instead of 25x11x12 on their ATVs. They even put 10" wide tires on the smaller Ranger Crew models. If they're good enough for the new SxS and ATV models, they should be good enough for an older model.

Probably would be an improvement in performance too, lighter tires and less rolling resistance.

It's cheaper for the tire companies not to make an 11" wide tire for Polaris and a 10" for everyone else. I know I've seen 10" wide rear tires on other quads before Polaris changed.

If you search eBay for 25"-11"-12" ATV tires , you should find quite a few. I love my Outlaw MST's on my AC Diesel, bought off eBay with ITP SS 12" rims. Mine are 27"though. Worth every penny! They are very light, at least compared to the 30" Mudzillas that it had. Not the greatest picture of them, but smooth, lightweight, tough, go anywhere!
