Hope this in in the right thread...
Has anyone out there swapped an XR400 cam into their 400ex? I have been reading threads on exriders.com concerning this and it sounds like an easy swap that will make good power. Supposedly the bottom end stays the same with good increases in the mid and top end. I don't want the noise of a aftermarket pipe but I am planning to mod the stock silencer as detailed on exriders.com and add a K&N air filter. Any input would be appreciated.
