Anybody recommending 28 inch titan 589's. What's the diffference between itp and titan's 589's. Riding in the Adirondack's mostly, in slop, on trail, climbing. Any feedback appreciated...

 

I dont think that the titans come in a 28inch tire, i think they are only 27inch, but the itp's are avaliable in 28's. The only differences between itp and titan is that the titans have a rim gaurd and they have ribbed lugs. I saw on a mud tire test that the itp's scored higher than the titans and the itp's were the same score as the mudzillas.

i just put on 27 inch itp 589's on a grizz 660. I tested them out this weekend and they are awesome and look bad. They worked great in mud,sand, and they hardpack. Climbed up and down some big ravines and it seemed like they would never run out of traction. good luck

 

They do make 28" Titan 589's. They are new, and a lot of places don't have them. But I have seen ads for them. If they are like the 27" 589's then they probably net out at 27". My 27" 589"s are only 26 3/8" tall. Inspite of their "undersize", they are an awesome tire for traction! When my current set of 27" tires wear out I'm going for the 28" next time.

Hey grizrick, my itp 589's are only measuring 25". I wonder if that is due to stock ac650le wheels or was I ripped?
