For the best all out mud tire only the 28x10.5x12 and 28x12.5x12 outlaws, but the muzillas can be aired up more(up to 31 inch) for max ground clearance. if you ride allot of mud WITh bottoms you might want to look at the 28 inch vampire edls with a 2 inch lug.
Yes roadkill the mud bugs and gators are very close to being the same. The gators are cheaper and the bugs are a little lighter.

All-Tracks are the best all round tire, Gators aren't good for all round, they're only good for mud.Why do you think team greens 4x4 driver uses all-tracks on his 650 V-Twin.

I have mud machine bi-claws/tri-claws (f=27-9.75x12 & r=27-12x12) on my AC 500. I was very impressed with the performance of these tires. In the mud as well as on hard pack. I mounted them this summer so I can't attest to how well they do in the snow. I like the hard pack ride much better then the vampires. They don't beat you up as bad as the vamps. I have never riden outlaws, zillas, bugs, gators, etc...I would not discredit any of them.
I bought mine because I heard good things about the tires from people who ride in the same conditions I do...mud,snow,hard pack,back-woods. And besides they are a bad lookin tire In my opinion they are really an under-rated tire. claws link check 'em out yourself.

27 inch Bi Tri Claws. The Gators/Mudbugs are not even in the same league as the big lug Claws. They are truly hard to beat. Lighter than the 589's. Cheaper than the Outlaws. Ride smooth and have awesome traction in all terrain. Except maybe sand.

If you want an aggressive mud tire with the same as stock or better ride on hard pack the Goodyear Mudrunners are the way to go. I bought mine based on info from this forum and in the ATV mag's and I am totally impressed with them.
