I am looking for paddle tires for my 1999 Banshee. It has FMF pipes and silencers, cool head, vforce reeds, modified air box and boost bottle. I plan to do some drag racing but mostly trail and dune riding. Which tires would work best for this type of application? Size & # of paddles?
My brother has a 02 Raptor w/o any mods but plans to modify the air box and rejet the carb and add DMC pipes later. Appling the above type of riding which tires would be the best for him?
Thanks

I have tried both types of tires, V paddles and straight paddles. I prefer a straight paddle as long as you are going to run a front sand tire. IMO, you guys should check out the Turbo Paddles from Jims's Sand Toys in Waynoka. You can get to 10" tires on Black Label polished wheels for $159.00. If you don't like the looks of those, Jim's has Haulers, Sand Skate II's (V-Paddles) and many others. I would stick to an 8 or 9 paddle on the Banshee, and the Raptor would love those Turbo Paddles. Front sand tires are inexpensive also. Two 10" polished wheels with Dune Trackers (solid rib tire) are $119.00. Shop around some, then go to Jim's. He is the cheapest.
Thanks for the advice. I think we have decided to go with the Sand Sharks for a couple of reasons. Cost being the first issue and then wanting an tire that is more multi-purpose.
