Default Detroit Locker for 600 Griz.

I was looking for some feedback from some others that have added the Detroit locker to the front end of their 600 Grizzlys. I have a Detroit locker in the front end of my pickup truck so I am very familiar with how it works in a front end application with auto's. But I was looking for some feedback on how it works with a quad? My Grizzly is currently locked up, but it is a permanent set up and I have found myself getting tired of the HARDER steering! It would be great to get some easier steering back, but I'm not really interested if it means I have to give up the traction of a locked front end. I have become the one that everyone I ride with has to keep up to because of my "locked" front end and tires. If I have to sacrifice that, then I will leave my quad the way it is and deal with the harder steering.

Rick, I have a DGL in my Rubicon. While in 2wd, it acts like an open differential which means steering is like there is no drivetrain up front. In 4wd, the outer tire is allowed to be pushed faster by the ground. When in 4wd mode, no tire is allowed to go slower than the engine. This gives you true 4wd.
