I'm currently running 27x12/12 and 27x10/12 mudbugs on my 99 500 Sportsman RSE but I'm losing a lot of horsepower because of the 27" tires. I was looking at the Super Swamper TSL's in 25x9.5/12 and 25x12.5/12 sizes. I don't know anybody who has these tires and i have no idea what these tires are like so i was wondering what they were like as far as durability, mud and trail riding, tread wear, weight, handling and power consumption. Any info about these tires would be great.

 

I have Super Swamper 25-9.50-12 on front and 25-13.50-10 on the back of my Sportsman 335. My 335 can turn these tires in the mud fine and they clean themselves with low wheel rpms. They were a big improvement over my 489 titans. I have never torn any u-joints or cv-joints running these tires. I think you like them, plus they don't cost alot.

Check your tire pressure alot, these tires can have no air in them and not look like they are flat. They seem to be of a harder rubber then most tires. I don't even run slime in these tires, never had a puncture or cut in them yet. Tread life seems to be good, and they ride fine on the hard pack. They dont have much side traction as you can surmise from the tread pattern. They have good side bite provided by the side lugs. Overall I would rate these tires a 9.
