2 stroke hits HARD is more of a rush but needs a little maintance

4 stroke hits smooth less of a rush but requires much less maintance.

kind of false on the info. Any bike will behave how its treated. You treat any bike bad and it will seem unreliable. Just like a female. You treat a chick bad...and she'll leave you stranded!

Honestly it depends on your riding. thumpers are good for trails, and 2 strokes are better suited for open area's like sand/dirt/dunes

you posted it in the sand dunes forum so id assume that u will be using it for mostly sand. My opinion would be go with a 2 stroke. More fun, better power, and easier to get the power.

4 stroke uses less gas, which makes life a lot easier, the suspension is better on the 4 strokes, if we are talking new machines that you can buy. less shifting on a 4 stroke. and yes for all out power the 2 stroke still wins, but it will cost. a stock banshee isn't the power house it once was. the honda is still great but they are getting old, but they make the best all around machine. but there new one may change that.

i would say 2 stroke for sand because the rpm range is alot higher than a four stroke, you need a lot of top end for fast dunning and a lighter bike, if you have the money i would defently go with a 88-89 trx 250r with a 330 moter, their fast torky and relible as long as you dont run meth or nitrous or run too much compression. banshea is a very fast bike but are heavy and big. they are also hard to get running consistent after modding, i like the way 250s handle in the sand. thats my oppinion. ive rode both with long travel arms and tcs shocks.

Hey Beechman, I don't think thats a really good comparison, cuz before I got married I treated a lot of woman like crap, and they always came back for more. It was the ones I treated good that always left me stranded..
