would i be respected at like pismo or silver lake or any dunes if i get a worlverine ? and are they any good for duning for a utility ?

I dont think its really about respect. I have taken mine on probably 10 different trips. Sure I'm dying for a sport quad (which is why mine is for sale) but I do just fine. I have the stock tires on and I just switch sides with them. With the tread pattern swapped like that I get little scoops on them. I go on the dune rides without too much trouble. You cant always go straight up the hills but theres always another way to get there. I have never not been able to keep up. Believe me its not a dune machine but you can get around. The full time 4x4 is probably what helps it.

Last time I saw a wolverine at the dunes it was my wife's friend and she rolled her dad's quad all the way down a hill. I'm sure you can do better than that. It's really the driver that earns respect, not the quad.
