Are there noise level restrictions at Coos Bay?

Yep they are the same at Coos as everywhere else on the Oregon Dunes.

there are no noise restrictions anywhere on the coast, just don't get caught [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Thank you for your replies. I knew they were really enforced at flourance and winchester, but wasn't sure about coos bay

Gotdirt - there not strongly enforced anywhere really... Just use you head and dont race back in forth by a campground or parkin lot and go slow when near the rangers. Ive never gotten checked or even looked at by a ranger about sound any time Ive ever been there. Just use your head and dont be stupid about it and you wont get in trouble

and if you come to a sound cheack turn-a-round, they won't chase you (they might) if they are chaseing you, go to the highest hill (if there in trucks) if there on quad........ your scrud!!!! remember a radio is faster then any quad!!!!

Just make sure you have all of the other no brainer things. Flag, Off-Road tag, etc and try not to draw attention to yourself. Cause one thing will lead to another. No visable off-road tag will lead to bein pulled over and then possibly a sound check... See what I mean?

hey thank you for the info. we had a great time hit coos,flourance, and winchester. the sand was good although I think the rappy could use a horsepower boost. no trouble with the guys in green either. when did they start the speed limit on the beeches?
