Default Paddle Questons!!! Need Help!!

Well I'm ready to buy some paddles and have basically made the decision on Skat-Trak Haulers 22x11x10. 8 paddle. And 21x7x10 Skat-Trak Mohawks. From what i have read the Haulers give you the best traction and are still able to slide around. and the mohawks turn a little softer than a solid rib or dual rib tire. should I get a matching size front tire a 22" rather that the 21" what do you guys think?? I'm not real shure about paddles.
Thanks,
Tom

Do you have an early DS, or a later one?? On the DS, I would stay with the larger size fronts. Smaller tires turn quicker, and might make the front end to quick. Haulers will give the best straight ahead traction, where Edges will give you the best turning and side hilling. I personally prefer the Edges.

Where you going to ride? You have some secret spots out there?

I have an 03' Baja. thanks for the tips, I'm going to Glamis on Haloween, and then finish the season out at Dumont. Yeah. I've got a couple very small sand dune secret areas out here and lot's of open desert with out any hassle of being in one of the ohv parks like spangler hills.

Have you looked at ITP's new Sandstars? They come in a 22x11x10. Good price as well.

The 21X7X10 Mohawks are pretty small for floating a heavy machine like the DS. I prefer 22x8x10 Duntrackers or 22x8x10 STU Razors (if you can afford them) on 6-inch wide rims. If you get the STUs you can run 8-inch wide wheels for serious floatation.

Don't let anybody talk you out of the 22" haulers - well, make that Extreme Haulers. Anything else and you will just be digging holes. I have seen it a million times. You may want a 22" for the front as well from what I've read about the DS steering.

have you looked at the itp 23" tires i have lots of tires for the ds and those are the ones i like best. the set up you first mentioned is great on a honda but not enough on a ds. but there all better than dirt tires.
