kenda sand gecko?!? is it good???
I had them for a while on my Raptor. There are better paddle tires out there. But I'll say one thing for them, they're tough!. Now that I have Turbo Paddles, I laugh at Raptors with Geckos trying to get up Choke Cherry at St. Anthony dunes. They usually don't make it.
But, on the other hand, on my girlfriend's Scrambler 500 2WD Geckos do better than 8 paddle Haulers. I don't know why. I did the test myself, same day same quad. I couldn't believe it, but it is true.
I guess the Srambler had the right tire speed to make the Geckos work.

the poeple I talked to that tried geckos on the KFX700 said their knobbies worked better in the sand. I thought they were exaggerating till I saw a KFX700 going up sand mountain with geckos. It was embarassing. He was going about 3 mph and the geckos were spinning like crazy.

I heard the Sand Stars work pretty well out there...I also bought a pair and from what I've heard, they work just as well or better than Sand Skates II....I'm gonna test them out next weekend..I can't wait!
