Default Glamis Setup...

I was reading yesterday that a brake light is needed @ Glamis for night riding. I don't need one during the day right? How about you guys w/ loud pipes - do you just stay away from the heat or what?

I'll have jets w/ me so I can deal w/ intake if I need to.

These questions may not mean jack - found a pinhole in my cylinder late yesterday afternoon while starting reassembly. Now it's got to go back to Millennium Tech, get fixed and get back to me by like mid-week next week. After they bored it out originally, they called to tell me there was a little crack in the sleeve. They said that they see 'em all the time and simply weld 'em and clean up. They also said that of those that they fix, about 30% won't take.

The little pinhole was at the top of where they welded. I'm certain they'll fix it, but getting in done quickly is another matter.

We're still going, but I may have no choice in what I ride - the CRF.

You need a tail light, not a brake light. During the day your lights are off so it doesn't matter to much.

As for sound it is still unclear if they are checking or not. Just don't draw attention to yourself.

Pin-hole is common in the YFZ's????

Where are you camping and when are you coming?

I guess we'll find out on that one.

Just an issue w/ the sleeve. It's already on it's way to WI. Millennium will have it in the morning and hopefully on it's way back by the end of the day.

As far as camping, you tell me... somewhere quite (if possible)

My plans are to get there @ about 6:00 pacific time Saturday evening. I'm planning on about a (10) hour drive from here. That'll give me time for a lap dance in Vegas - while my wife waits in the truck of course.

what you driven
A new 3/4 ton GMC Suburban/Yukon/whatever that looks exactly (color and all) like this...

My rig...

w/o the boat of course.

I'll be pulling a flatbed type trialer that looks just like this...

My trailer...

w/ (2) blue YFZs (fingers crossed) and (1) red CRF450 bike.

Oh, you'll find me just fine... I'll be yelling over my PA system "ATTENTION SLOW QUADS... MOVE AWAY FROM THE MOUNTAIN IMMEDIATELY".

Will you be there Sunday too?
