Default paddles!? (im clueless

im trying to find some used paddles for my honda 250x. i havn't checked ebay lately but i figured i would check here. how can i tell if these tires and rims will fit my fourwheeler.are there any types of paddles i should avoid or look for? i have never bought new tires or rims before so im clueless. also will paddle tires work in the snow too? that would be cool because im gonna use my atv to pull friends around on a sled in some fields. thanks

matt

i'd recommend sand devils for the 250x. THey work better than knobbies in the snow, but they can be damaged by rocks sticks etc.

6 paddles are a little low, go with at least 7. Look on Ebay and get something with a "V" paddle and about a 20" tire. Being that you are cluless, be sure to get something with wheels that have the right bolt pattern. Honda is 4X110mm. Majority of paddle tires have 8 paddles, and I have always ran 8 paddles on my 250x and 300ex, so you cant really go wrong, especialy if you get a "V" pattern. Also, tires and wheels advertised for a 250r, 400ex, 300ex, Z400, cannondale, and the Kawasaki 400 will fit.

I have never had a 250x/ex, but I know that my buddies older 300ex ran ALOT better w/ 6 paddle haulers than 8's. I also know my 426ex goes better w/ 7 paddles than 8 paddle.

sand moisture affects the amount of paddles a lot.
