Anyone know what the weather is supposed to be like at either of these places this weekend? We were planning on heading out to Dumont tonight but the wind is blowing like crazy in the high desert. I checked the weather but you can't ever count on those guys. Just currious if anyone is out near those areas that can shed a little light on the subject.

 

The weather in Glamis this weekend was awsm a little cold!! No SMOKE!!!

 

We stuck with going out to Dumont. What an awsome weekend!!! No wind, but chilly at night, and 70+ degrees. Hope everyone had a great time!

 

Do you sleep in a motorhome? I'm supposed to go next weekend but only have a tent. Will
I freeze?

Weather? It's a sand desert - I didn't know they had weather. Can't wait... Dumont 01-01-04!

 

I went there this past weekend.

It was a little too chilly to be w/o a jacket.

At night it it was about 45 maybe 50 degrees.

But the wind was howling!

We parked on the West side and dug into a dune to block the wind from our tents.

It was real windy Saturday night and the parking lot was nuthin but a dust bowl.....It was nice in out "Cave" though.
