It was about 90 this last 4th of July and lots of folks were wearing shorts, I'm not sure if St. Anthonys has a helmet law, I always wear it

I think St. A does have a helmet law - everybody seems to have one on. I wear jeans and a T shirt generally. Be prepared for cool evenings late and early summer.

I always wear a bucket - St A's does have a helmet law. I hate ridding in shorts even if it is warm enough. One exhaust pipe burn and you will feel the same way. I usually wear my jersey or a t-shirt during the day.
I also like to pack a sweater for the evening ride home. The temp drop off quickly at night in St. A's

Take the same stuff you'd wear riding in Butte. And you know that Montana weather....

Get some pants that have zip-off legs. I ride w/ Shift pants that do that, but many others make them too. Once I started wearing "freestyle" type pants, I've never put my MX pants back on.

Selector's must haves:

Snell lid
goggles
full MX boots
riding specific gloves

I say "riding specific gloves" because there was a time I would ride with those cloth gloves w/ the blue tips - you know the ones, VERY grippy, but that's the problem too. Them damn things don't want to let go of a twist throttle sometimes.
